B.Sc.Agriculture

About the Program
B.Sc (agriculture) course has been started in Jagannath Vishwa College with a vision to impart in depth knowledge of agricultural sciences and train students in developing expertise in frontier areas of agriculture and horticulture for a sustainable agricultural production.

This program curriculum includes courses in crop production, horticulture techniques, bio-technology and farm engineering together with a relevant laboratory programs and a research project leading to a dissertation. The students are specifically groomed for R & D and Industry.

The department has a strong interdisciplinary research and training base in agriculture biotechnological sciences and engineering which prepare the students for academics, industry and research.

• B.Sc (Agriculture) : 4 years Course
• Course Duration : 4 years (8 semesters)
• Eligibility : Candidates should be passed under 10+2 system of Science (PCM / CBZ) and Agriculture from a recognized school board with minimum 45% for General category and 40% for Sc and ST.
